Verronica

She is a seductress
She is a witch
She is a siren
She is a song
She is full of fire
She is cool as ice
She is a protector
She is a fighter
She stands for innocence
She holds the light
She breaks through barriers
She stands up for what is right
She puts up a shield
But is tender inside
Her heart is pure gold
Her blood runs pure white
She breathes in the dawn
She breathes out the night
Her eyes hold infinity
Her lips speak the truth
Her ears hear the darkness
Her hands touch the cosmos
The stars call her name
The moon draws her in
The sun shines through her skin
The world is her oyster
She claims what is hers
No one may trespass
No one shall harm
Her power protects her
And all she holds dear
The world will whisper
When it is time
She will step forward
The past will unwind
The present will ignite
The future will unfold
She is timeless
She is forever
She is the universe
She is all.

Meditation: I am Present

I woke up early and meditated to Oprah/Deepak's meditation series Day 13.  My friend told me about it yesterday and sent me the link and I joined. It was really powerful and I felt a lot of energy from it.

The focus for this day:

Day 13
Miraculous Awareness
Today's Centering Thought:
I am present.

Our Sanskrit mantra:
Om Vardhanam Namah

I nourish the universe and the universe nourishes me.
me.

Family

Some by birth and blood do make their bond;
Some by ties of marriage of whom we are fond.

They are always there when you are in need,
Tied by a special unspoken creed.

The joy and laughter that are often shared,
Cannot be measured or compared.

They accept you with all your flaws,
Even when you give them pause.

In the heat of anger you may have spoken,
But this powerful bond cannot be broken.

The fruits of this bond are a gift from above,
A precious symbol of eternal love.

No distance or time can lessen this tie,
For it only grows stronger as the years go by.

Hold onto them tight for as long as you can,
Don't let anything come between you and your clan.

The generations before course through our veins,
Their strength can see us through any pain.

Even in death their presence is found,
As we sense their spirits are still around.

Don't question the reason nor the need,
Honor the past and their lessons heed.

The present is ours to forge the way,
As the future brings the promise of a brighter day.
