Nature Divine

Dolphin Dream

Once in my life so far,
I was blessed to see a glimpse,
Of two dolphins jumping from the ocean,
Briefly as I walked in the sand.

What beautiful and graceful creatures,
With their eternal smiles;
They call to me to join in their fun,
And live in harmony with nature.

I have a favorite dream,
Of swimming with them in the sea;
To feel their joy and peace,
To communicate without words.

They are so intelligent and free,
A special gift from God above;
Were I anything other than me,
A dolphin I would choose to be.

My Special Sun

If ever a cloud gets in the way,
Of enjoying the Sun's healing rays,
I simply thank God for the beautiful day,
And ask him to let the Sun out to play.

This simple prayer is all it takes,
And like a charm the Sun awakes;
It takes a peek from its hiding place,
And sheds its light upon my face.

This special gift helps me to see,
That the Sun can shine just for me;
No matter how dark it may seem,
Nothing can stop this powerful beam.

It brightens my day beyond belief,
Just knowing it's there is such a relief;
Give this a try whenever you're blue,
And see if the Sun will play with you!

Walk With Me
Inspired by walking in a meditative state in the little park at the end of my street on a very beautiful summer day, with a blue sky and wispy clouds, a nice breeze and the trees surrounding the circular path. I composed the entire poem on the walk. A first for me. This poem is special to me because it was the first I had written in years and the first of many written that summer.

The Beckoning Breeze
Also inspired on that same summer day, as the breeze was blowing through the window as I wrote my poetry.

Bountiful Berries
Inspired by picking and eating mulberries by the patch of trees on land at my workplace with fellow co-workers. I have a love for wild berries.

Trees
Inspired again by that little park, as I appreciated the trees as I walked on a sunny day.

Camping
Inspired by a camping trip with friends and family.

The Smoky Mountains
Inspired by a wonderful day in the mountains on a trip to Tennessee.

The Park
Another little poem inspired by the park where I like to walk. The simple things in life.

Solitary Hike
Inspired by a wonderful hike by myself on a beautiful trail in the state park, on a beautiful fall day. I wrote it and recited it to myself as I was walking, making sure to remember it.

Untouched Beauty
Inspired by a wildflower patch in the middle of our track at work, hidden in the hilly grass
I fell in love with it at first sight

Red Sky
Inspired by walking out into a beautiful red sky in the early morning on what was predicted to be a stormy day. The old saying rang true to me.

Morning Observation
Inspired by a walk in my park on an early morning and observing the beauty of nature around me.

Wet and Wind
Inspired by walking in my little park after it had rained all day the day before.
It was very wet and windy. I had just started my 30 day transformation challenge
the day before and so the Archangels and Goddess who came in the day before
we walking with and supporting me. It felt good.

Inspired by the trees on a snowy cold winter day.
